Titus 3:5 according to His mercy He saved us,

not by works of righteousness 

which we have done, 

but according to His mercy He saved us, 

through the washing of regeneration 

and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

we can not make up for the bad things we have done by doing good things ~ we make up for them by asking for forgiveness and not doing them again ~ hence we are showing our Lord, we are growing and learning ~ 

some of us learn faster than others

we must be patient with each other for sometimes we are the one that learns fast and SOMETIMES it is our turn to not learn so fast

Lord, have mercy on my soul, his soul, her soul, their souls, our souls.  Lord have mercy on us all.  Amen

learn to give your worries to God freely and willingly

remember always that God cares

share your thoughts and worries with God through prayer he is always there to listen

Lord, thank you for your love, patience, and kindness.  i am grateful for your guidance and for you always being there to help me and take my worries from me.  knowing that you care makes all the difference when times seem difficult. help me to always have the strength, trust, and love to come to you Lord and be able to give my worries to you.  Amen

Lord, help me find the path of truth and love  guide me towards your path in the name of Christ.  i am grateful for the peace i have found in seeking your ways.  may i grow and learn each day and may i find your nurturing ways as a map; as an example to guide my heart always.  Amen

Romans 8:28 we know that all things work together for good

And we know that all things

no matter what havoc others may plan ~ trust God ~ God will turn it into good

trust always in God and do not worry about spiteful intentions of others

trust God and you will not even see, feel, hear, or read spiteful intentions to ruffle feathers for God will turn it into good and all you will see, feel, hear or read will be the good that God has given the possibility for it to be

Lord, help me always to know you make everything work together for the greater good.  help me have strength to endure predisposed intentions, predisposed alignments, and predisposed scripts that are meant to cause havoc. help me to always trust you and instead of allowing their intentions to hurt me; have them help me, find the possibilities of good that are in all of us no matter what intentions are preset.  Amen

Hebrew 4:15 but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

For we do not have a High Priest 

who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, 

but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

there is always temptations around; they are there to test our weaknesses

even Jesus was tested an tempted, but did not comply

pray for strength and guidance to resist temptation

Lord, help me, guide me to resist temptations that are not your path and your light.  let me always to find the strength to be aware of temptations when they are set forth in my path.  surround me with family and friends that will not knowingly bring forth temptations but surround me with family and friends that will help me guide me and help find inner strength to follow your path and light always.  Amen

we humans have our ways; so we might not always understand each others actions, thoughts, and words

have faith in the Lord and have faith in others faith in the Lord and you will find common ground

Lord, help to know that i may not understand others for we each have our unique ways. help me to always trust you and depend on your scriptures for understanding and guidance.  i pray to you Lord for your will to be my will.  may your scriptures guide me and help me find my path.  Lord, i pray to you for guidance, understanding, peace, tranquility, joy, and wisdom.  Amen

may i always find words that are kind and give life to the waters

may my words never pollute or muddy up the wellspring of wisdom

may my words find themselves to those who need to hear and may their words find themselves to me for i may hear them

Lord, help me find words that are gentle, full of kindness and may they bring comfort to those in need of comfort and friendship. may my words give life and purify the waters of wisdom that have flown through time.  Amen

Romans 14:17 God is not eating and drinking

Lord, i am grateful and give thanks for the food and drink that graces my table.  may my food and drink be filled with  your holy spirit and your love.  may what graces my table be what i need for healing and nourishment.  Amen

learn to recognize the signs and actions of God

Lord, help me know you more each day.  guide me and help me be an example ~ help to spread love and not fear.  Lord, help me to spread joy and not anger ~ help me to spread forgiveness and not bitterness.  Amen

Lord, may your kind scriptures always be my treasures.  may they please go deep in my heart, become a part of my heart ~ so as to guide my heart always and guide my thoughts and actions.  may i always feel at home with my heart.  Amen

Lord, thank you for always gracing us with a place to call home.  Your always with me in my heart; they say your home is where your heart is; so my heart is always home.  in my heart, in my home, i am grateful for the peace you have graced upon us.  please allow me to allow your grace and peace to enter my heart, my spirit, and my soul. Amen

1 Chronicles 29:17 You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness.

may we give many reasons for you to be proud of us and rejoice

may we understand that our integrity is not something to be taken lightly or to be given away

by living righteously we will find the joy that only comes from you 

Lord, help my thoughts, words, and actions be filled with love, joy, and integrity.  may i give you reasons to be proud and to always rejoice that you are my father.  Amen

Matthew 6:8 “Therefore do not be like them

you have showed me many times you give me what i need;as i need it

i am amazed at how you stay one step ahead of what i need Lord

do not be like them; those that do not live their lives, not really, they waste their time watching seeing what havoc they can cause to others

no matter how many try to cause havoc in the end Lord, you will always give me what i need and turn their havoc into miracles for me

Lord, i have faith and trust you will always help me provide for my family.  with you; there is nothing i can not do for my family.  thank you for always providing me with what i really and truly need in my life and for providing for what my family truly needs.  Amen

Romans 12:16

Be of the same mind 

toward one another.

but associate with the humble.

enable harmony to live among you, among me, among us

we are all equal; no matter where we come from or where we are

do not set your mind a tunnel vision; your way is not always the only way

Lord, help us to build harmony in our lives, our homes, our communities, our countries, our earth, and in our universe.  Amen

Ezekiel 2:7.....whether they hear or whether they refuse

continue to speak of forgiveness, love, Christ, God

as long as they are reading, even if they are not listening

Lord, help me continue to look within myself as see your ways.  help me to keep spreading your light to those that are not just hearing but also listening.  thank you for your strength that you give me, for i am grateful.  help me to continue my journey of growth, enlightenment, and spiritual light.  Amen

PSALM 131:2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,

finding one's inner quietness is a true blessing

learning to calm oneself comes from inner strength that comes through prayer 


Lord, help me always to have the inner strength to calm and quiet my soul.  help  me to help others learn how to calm and quiet their soul.  there is a true inner quietness that comes from faith and prayer.  believing in you, trusting in you, and praying for guidance will make one's soul calm and quiet during times of adversity.  as we grow closer to you, are calmness grows.  allow me to always grow closer to you Lord, Amen.

Romans 12:20 If your enemy is hungry

Therefore
      “ If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
      If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
      For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head

if you are in a position where you can help; offer assistance help

by offering assistance you might be able to make a new friend

it takes great inner strength to put differences aside and be able to offer assistance with someone you do not necessarily agree with

do not allow yourself to become evil; offer to help your enemy if you can 

it takes sometimes just as much inner strength to offer assistance as it takes to be able to accept it; allow yourself and allow them to be strong

Lord, help me be able to have the inner strength to offer assistance when someone needs help.  even, if it is someone i do not see eye to eye with.  help me also allow them to be able to accept help from me if they need it.  Amen

receive on another ~ accept one another

acceptance begins with accepting oneself

by learning to accept oneself;
one learns to believe in oneself

by believing in oneself one creates the ability
to believe in others for the first time;
and to believe in others once again

by accepting and believing in oneself then and only then
can others also learn to accept and believe if they are truly willing

Lord, help me learn by your example, and by the example of your son Christ.  as you accept me, let me learn to accept others.  Amen
